Peanut butter and jelly—the ultimate nostalgic combo. This Greek yoghurt bowl takes the classic flavour duo, and turns it into a protein-rich breakfast that’s just shy of 30g of protein. Ka-pow!💪
What’s more, it’s a cinch to throw together. Simply mix the peanut butter into the yogurt, swirl in the fruity jam, layer on the toppings, and bada-bing, bada-boom—you’ve got a well-balanced, 5-minute breakfast that tastes like a treat but keeps you fuelled all morning.

Ingredients You’ll Need
Plain and unsweetened Greek yogurt. Strained to remove excess whey, Greek yogurt is ultra-thick and creamy, making it perfect for holding those dreamy swirls of jam and peanut butter. While regular yogurt works, its thinner texture may lead to sinking toppings (and nobody wants that!).
Smooth peanut butter. Opt for a drippy-style nut butter, aka one that’s naturally runny and easy to mix. The fewer the additives, the more fluid it will be—so look for just nuts and salt on the label.
Raspberry jam. Sweet and tangy, it’s the perfect match for pb. Choose a jam with a high fruit content to let those natural raspberry flavours shine.
Fresh fruit. Raspberries for a juicy, tangy pop and antioxidant punch, and bananas for sweetness and to make the bowl more balanced. Skip the banana if you’d prefer it lighter or lower-carb.
Roasted salted peanuts. A sprinkle of these on top adds a satisfying crunch and a pop of salt to tie all the flavours together.
Step-by-Step: Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bowl
Kitchen Tips
Mix the PB into the yogurt first. This creates a smooth and creamy base (and your own homemade peanut butter yogurt!) and avoids thick, overwhelming globs of peanut butter that stick to the roof of your mouth.
Then gently swirl in the jam. For a pop of sweet fruity flavour in every spoonful. The little ribbons of jam are gorgeous with the tangy, creamy peanut butter yogurt.
Prefer another nut butter or jam combo? This recipe adapts easily to whatever’s on hand. Swap pb for almond or cashew butter, or try a different jam and fruit—strawberry, blueberry, or blackcurrant all work a treat.
Serving & Storage
This dish is best enjoyed right after making it to keep the toppings fresh and the yogurt creamy.
That said, with the right storage you can prep it ahead to take on-the-go. Simply layer the ingredients into a small airtight container with a lid, and store in the fridge until you’re ready to eat. If travelling, pack with an ice pack to keep it chilled and food safe.
Over time, you might notice a bit of separation in the yogurt. To restore its creamy glory, just give it a quick stir before eating.
Mix together the Greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
Swirl in the jam, leaving ribbons throughout the yoghurts.
Slice the banana, then top the PB-jam-yogurt mix with banana slices and raspberries.
Sprinkle overtop the roasted peanuts.
