Fig, Tahini & Mānuka Honey Bliss Balls

Ingredients:  

  • 1 cups dried figs (around 150g)
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ¾ cup shredded coconut
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp tahini
  • Tbsp mānuka honey
  • 1 tsp water (or more, if needed)
  • Extra garnishes (optional): sesame seeds, dried coconut, sunflower seeds...

Method:

  • Add to a food processor the figs, walnuts, coconut, ginger and salt. Blitz for around 30 seconds.
  • Add the tahini and honey. Blitz again until a tacky mixture forms - this should take another 30 seconds. Add the water and blitz again until a mixture forms that holds well when squeezed.
  • Using a tablespoon for a measure, squeeze and roll 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a ball using your hands, until the batch is done. Your hands might get a little greasy - this is just the honey and lovely oils from the nuts!
  • Roll in your choice of toppings (optional). Enjoy!
