Nutritious Acai Breakfast Berry Bowl

Berry acai bowl served topped wth peanut butter, yoghurt, muesli and fruit.

Ingredients:  

Acai bowl

  • cup nut milk or coconut water
  • ¾ cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 frozen banana (peel and slice into coins before freezing)
  • ¼ ripe avocado
  • ½ serving of unflavoured, vanilla or chocolate protein powder based of a 20g per serve protein powder
  • 2 Tbsp freeze-dried acai powder
  • 1 tsp sweetener e.g. maple syrup, runny honey...

Optional - toppings

  • yoghurt, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit, nutty granola/muesli, nut butter or coconut chips...

Method:

  • Add all ingredient to a food processor and blitz until thick and smooth
  • Pour into a bowl. Optional: sprinkle with the toppings of your choice. Dig in!
